deux frères assis sur un banc.

04

It was hot that day.

Rush hour.

Cars lined up at the light, waiting for it to change.

The city moving in slow motion for a few minutes.

Watch the scene study below.

Two brothers sit on a bench.

That was the scene.

On the left is George, one of the owners of Osprey, and his brother Flynn.

A quick shoutout to George and Gus for keeping the block lively, creative, and a little indie-film-esque. Everyone says walking into Osprey feels like stepping into an indie movie, which suits my cinematic mind perfectly. ♡

And the two brothers on the bench .

No grand revelation. No dramatic plot.

Just a small moment between two people who have known each other their entire lives.

And somehow that was enough to feel like a French film.

What stayed with me was the ease of it.

The pause.

The kind of closeness that doesn't need performance, only presence.

A summer evening.

A conversation without an audience (Except me, I guess.)

And all the rosé and paper planes…

If you know, you know.

Sometimes a scene is beautiful simply because someone stayed.
